You book it.
Conveniently fit your charging around your schedule. Just choose when and where you’d like a Nimbee to turn up.
We charge it.
No more planning routes based on where the charging stations are. One of our Nim‘beelivery drivers will do the recharging for you.
You drive it.
Once it’s done, we’ll let you know. Race off to your next boardroom meeting, and repeat as suits, or set up a subscription.
Smarter than smart.
What if your EV could charge, while you’re recharging too? Use every hour of parking in the city, while at work, or at your little one’s recital to recharge effortlessly. Nimbee is the first subscription-based energy provider that comes to you, no garage or wall box necessary.
When the technology doesn’t exist, the only solution is to create it. Nimbee’s journey hasn’t been easy or inexpensive, but the vision of truly convenient, nimble charging, has kept the team driving forward.
Together with Swiss experts, Nimbee began prototyping using a crystal clear vision: a fully mobile battery no larger than a scooter that’s able to charge one EV per hour. Ambitious, but it’s here.
The experience is 360° mobile and intuitive to boot. An easy-to-use booking app allows you to order a recharge to the hour – to any place. And it’s just between the driver and Nimbee to arrange.
For our customers, time is everything – to have to wait by a charging station for hours or be fully dependent on a home station is unacceptable, and unfeasible for those with visions of their own.
We’d like to see cities filled with EVs, because we know that we can easily change the current state, while helping the planet. We’ve already proved it’s possible.
We’re doing it right now.
Nimbee removes the barriers to deploying renewables.
Imagine 1000s of well-managed small batteries that are capable of both load balancing and providing other services like charging at the same time.
This has tremendous potential to bring stability to a grid full of EVs and renewables, doing away with peak-shifting as NimBees take over the role naturally.
Fast deployment and high utilization are exactly what’s needed to tackle the existing infrastructure deployment issues and provide a solution for those who can’t “home-charge”.
Nimbee’s vision?
More electric cars
in the city.
“Why should a person drive to a charging station, when it can come to them? I want to remove the current dependency EV owners have on traditional charging stations. Nimbee stands for nimble electricity, without any hassle.“
Jan Šamal, chief driver of all things Nimbee

While electric cars include some of the most innovative tech around, we forgot about their charging. Not one EV driver enjoys the tiresome planning, endless searching for a free charging station, and waiting around for the charging to take place.
Time is the most precious commodity we have. We believe in investing in what charges us.

We are currently analyzing the data from our test run. So it is not possible to use the service for now.
We will start charging soon. the price will consist of a subscription fee and a payment for the charge you ordered.
Yes, the app itself is, and always will be, free. We will, however, eventually start charging (pun intended) for the charging.
Our aim is to provide a complete service without having to bother you - the client. However, not all car manufacturers support SmartCar just yet. So we might need you to be close enough to unlock the car for us, so we can start charging.
You can cancel the booking in the app if you wish. We just ask to do it long enough in advance, so we can make the time slot available for other users.
We calculate the charging volume during the order process, but we won’t show you the 'electricity amount' unit (or kWh) – we want to make it easier to understand the charge by converting it into driving terms. In other words, how many miles of driving the specified energy recharge would add.
